Summer of 2013

I am almost two years behind on keeping this little memory blog.
Time to play a little bit of catch up.

Super fun road trip with these lovelies to Wyoming.
Dian invited us to join her and Sami and Mandie came along.
It was a great week with fun hiking, wildlife viewing
(the big girls saw a bear at Jenny Lake!), playing on the pond,
campfires, downhill sliding, shopping in town, and more!

Stopped at Whole Foods for a few groceries and came home with this little guy!
Isn't he the cutest puppy?
What on earth was I thinking?!

Summer fun with Gabby and Max!

Sarah broke her hand during a super silly volleyball exercise.

And our little, sweet Olivia turned five!
How did that happen?

A Few More Of The Wedding Fun!

Finally,  the cupcakes!

Love these kids.

Handsome men.

Me and mom.

Such a delightful day.

The Wedding

So excited for Jill and Jamie!
And, Gabby and Max!
Such a lovely start.
A new beginning.
Praising God for this relationship.

A Wet, Joyful Easter

All the prepping was going smoothly!

Cookies frosted.

Dresses prepped.

Baskets ready.

The sunrise service on the beach was a glorious celebration
of our Risen Lord!

And it was dry.
Sure, it was a bit cloudy.
But, it doesn't rain on Easter!

So we set everything up outside, as planned.

 And it poured!

And we scrambled!

Moved everything inside.

And had a blessed Easter celebration.

Another Year Of School Traditions

Mock Trial!
The teams had a great year.
Finished second in our county with just seven points between us and La Reina.

January Happenings

We had lots of fun discussions at Christmas Time about the "kids table."  Paul and I still remember sitting at that table as a married couple!  The big kids were discouraged hearing that.  Imagining that they might still have more years before they made it to the main table.
You can imagine how delighted they were on New Years Day when Grandma put them in the dining room (there were more of them) and the older adults were in the kitchen.

Quinn went back to DC for a day and then flew back to CA for a Silent Drill Platoon performance at the All-American high school football game at the Home Depot Center in Corona.
So great to see him perform!

Sarah and I went on a school trip to the Bay Area.  Almost 60 of us at the beautiful Point Montera Lighthouse for five day.  A trip to San Francisco and a two day tournament for Mock Trial.  Sarah got first place for her witness role!!

The girls and I played hookie one day and had a great time at The Happiest Place On Earth!  Livi had not been since she was two.  She loved all the rides.  She even braved the Matterhorn.

Christmas 2012

For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
Isaiah 9:6

We celebrated Christmas Eve at the barn in Camarillo.
Then onto Auntie Linda and Uncle Tim's for
the Feast of Seven Fishes.

Santa filled the stockings and left snowy boot prints!
