Hello Neglected Blog

I know.............its been way too long since I have posted!  February to now seems like a blur.  Now that summer is just around the corner, I feel like I can breathe.

Here's a glimpse of what we've been up to.

Connor finished up Mock Trial.
He did a great job as a prosecuting attorney.  His team went undefeated in the county competition.

Another great season of basketball finished up with a long weekend of games at the
California Home School Sports
March Gladness Tournament.

Sarah's team got second place in their division!

Connor got his driver's license...........

Paul's uncle and aunt joined us for Easter.

Livi and I are finishing up our Parent Toddler class.

Christopher finished up another semester of school and I love that he still likes to play with
his brother and sisters.

So that's the last several months in one post.  I'll try to stay caught up from here on out.........

Chinese New Year

Our first real celebration this year.
We were too busy with surgeries last year during the new year.
It was fun to put up all the decorations that we brought home with us from China.
I even did the cooking.
I forgot to pull out the camera while we eating, but I got a few pictures before our guests arrived.

A Certain Little Girl Has Sparkles In Her Ears

Livi notices everything.  And, she really likes to be matching with Momma and Sarah.
So, it came as no surprise when she was gesturing that she wanted earrings.
I told her that it would be an "ouchie" and that she needed to ask Daddy.  She went right to Paul, said, "eering," and pointed to each ear and said, "ouch, ouch."
He knew exactly what she was asking for.
A couple of days later.....

Lots of celebrating this year.

Auntie Pam, Uncle Markus, Nickolas, and Julia arrived from Zurich on Tuesday.

Quinn arrived home on Wednesday.

Thursday night we saw
"A Christmas Carol" at the Glendale Centre Theater.

Friday night was the
Feast of Seven Fishes and Christmas Eve service at the barn.

Christmas morning at home.

Christmas dinner at Grandma and Grandpa's.

So thankful for the time that we had with family.
Thank you Jesus -- for giving us cause to celebrate!!
Help us to love you and love others.

A Little Night Music

Sarah has wanted to have a caroling party for years.
Trouble is that she usually thinks to asks about having it in mid-December.
Kinda hard to plan it then.....

This year she had the invitations all made out in September!!
Ten girls singing sweetly through the neighborhood in beautiful harmony.
Celebrating and sharing their excitement of their Savior's birth.
It was a blessing for all!

Fun Day!

Spent a wonderful day at Disney before our passes were blocked out for a few weeks.
Lovely day -- lots of warm sunshine and pretty quick lines.

Goofy kids had just as much fun with mustaches out of the vending machine at dinner!

Happy Homecoming

So glad to have Christopher home.
First stop, Taco Bell.
Sorry that he didn't feel good after........
