It is with joy and excitement (and a bit of nervousness) we are happy to announce that we are beginning the paperwork to adopt another little girl from China!
We don't know who she is yet, or how old she is, or when we will go to China. We do know that the Lord God Almighty has called us to the journey even though we are old, don't have the money to do this, have a small house, the list goes on......
So, we are going to be selling everything that isn't nailed down. And we won't be going on a vacation anytime soon. And trusting that the Lord will equip us to do what He has called us to do.
We are trading those things for the joys of having another little smiling face sitting around the table with us. Another sweet someone to hold and love on.
Oh man, can't wait!
So,
join us as we say,
"Always be full of joy in the Lord. I say it again -- rejoice!!"
Phil 4:4
We are indeed full of joy and rejoicing.
Congratulations. How wonderful for you and your family!

ReplyDeleteI am SO excited for you!!!
Looking forward to following your journey
to your newest treasure!
We are much older than you and have been
so very blessed to follow the Lord's leading
to our three precious daughters!!
So glad we have old friends who are just as crazy as we are! Every minute has been a blessing!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations!! I am so happy for your family! I have a friend from college who was one of 3 children whose parents also adopted 2 little girls from China ... after they were ALL in college! Rejoicing with you as you embark on a new and exciting adventure!!
ReplyDeleteSo fun to follow your "growing family"! We were enjoying this photo and just marveling at how tall and mature everyone is, and then we read the news that you are beginning to search for another beautiful addition the the Richert crew! We pray that God blesses you and another baby girl. What an example you are.... rejoicing with you!
ReplyDeleteThat is such exciting news!!! I love that you continued praying about how God would continue to direct your family with adoption, being open to whatever plans he has for you guys! I will keep you guys in my prayers too. I have really been reminded the last 2 days to continue praying for the same thing for our family and I know it is no coincidence that I am reading this about your family today. This really encouraged me.
